Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct exists to ensure that all Car Meets events, online communities, and brand interactions remain safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone involved. By attending our meets, purchasing merchandise, or engaging with our community, you agree to follow these guidelines.
Respect and Inclusion
We are a community built on a shared passion for cars. We expect all attendees and members to:
- Treat others with respect at all times
- Avoid harassment, discrimination, or abusive language of any kind
- Respect all genders, backgrounds, vehicles, and experience levels
- Not engage in aggressive, intimidating, or unsafe behaviour
Zero tolerance applies to hate speech, violence, or bullying—online or in person.
Vehicle Safety & Driving Conduct
Our events are designed to celebrate car culture in a controlled and respectful environment. Depending on the venue and specific event, there may be organised and authorised driving activities, such as drift demonstrations, burnouts, drag-style runs, or performance showcases.
Where such activities are present:
- Participation is strictly optional and at your own discretion
- Drivers must ensure they are fully competent, licensed (where required), and in control of their vehicle at all times
- You are fully responsible for your own actions, vehicle condition, and safety
- Safety briefings, rules, and instructions from organisers and marshals must be followed without exception
- Only designated areas or tracks may be used for any form of performance driving
- Any unsafe behaviour will result in immediate removal from the activity and/or the event
If you choose to take part, you acknowledge that you do so voluntarily and accept full responsibility for the risks involved.
Outside of authorised activity areas:
- No reckless driving, racing, or anti-social behaviour on public roads or event grounds
- All vehicles must be operated safely and lawfully at all times
Our priority is always safety—for drivers, spectators, staff, and the public.
Merchandise, Apparel & Brand Use
Our merchandise, apparel, and stickers represent the Car Meets community.
- Purchased items are for personal use only unless otherwise agreed
- Do not alter or misuse branded merchandise in a way that misrepresents the brand
- Unauthorized resale of official merchandise is prohibited
- Stickers should be used responsibly and legally (no application on private/public property without permission)
We reserve the right to take action against counterfeit or unauthorized products.
Photography & Media
Photography and filming are welcome at our events. We encourage attendees and content creators to capture and share the atmosphere, cars, and community respectfully and responsibly.
When recording or photographing motorsport-style activities such as drifting, burnouts, or drag-style runs:
- Please avoid clearly capturing drivers’ faces where possible
- Vehicle registration plates involved in these activities should be blurred or obscured before posting online
- Content creators are responsible for ensuring any footage or media shared publicly respects the privacy and safety of participants
- Do not interfere with event operations, safety barriers, marshals, or active driving areas while filming
You are welcome to record content for personal or social media use, provided it is done safely and respectfully.
By attending our events, you acknowledge and agree that you may appear in photographs, video recordings, livestreams, promotional material, or social media content published by Car Meets and its partners.
Accountability & Enforcement
We expect everyone attending our events to act responsibly and respectfully at all times.
- Illegal substances are strictly prohibited at all events and venues
- Alcohol consumption must comply with venue rules, local laws, and event staff instructions
- Any illegal, dangerous, reckless, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate removal from the event
- Serious incidents may be reported to venue security, local authorities, or law enforcement where necessary
By attending our events or participating in any activities, you accept full responsibility for your own actions, behaviour, vehicle, passengers, and personal safety.
Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in:
- Verbal warning
- Removal from the event grounds
- Suspension or permanent ban from future events, online groups, or community platforms
- Refusal of entry to future events
- Legal action where appropriate
Car Meets is built on passion, respect, accountability, and shared enthusiasm for automotive culture. Every attendee plays a part in keeping the community safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone involved.
